The British Standards Institute, together with Alliance Manchester Business School, is launching BS 76005:2017 Valuing people through diversity and inclusion – Code of practice on 4 May 2017 at the Manchester Museum.

Diversity and inclusion have become key management topics now that we recognise the opportunities arising from for a diverse and inclusive workforce.

To help organisations embed these attributes Alliance MBS' Professor in Organisational Behaviour, Helge Hoel; and Dr Anne McBride, Senior Lecturer in Employment Studies, led the development of a new British standard that aims to maximise the contribution of human capital.

BS 76005:2017 Valuing people through diversity and inclusion – Code of practice provides both a framework for valuing people, and recommendations for influencing, engaging and aligning diversity and inclusion expectations.

The event will be of interest for anyone in HR, management consultancy or management who’s interested in diversity and inclusion, as well as anyone in a diversity or inclusion role.
