Whilst we aim to give you an update on your application by the deadline date, due to the high volume of applications that we receive, this may not always be possible. In some instances, it may be necessary for us to roll your application forward to the next deadline date due to the competition for places.
Applications received after our final selection deadline will be considered at our discretion if places are still available.
Please note: All places are subject to availability and if you apply at one of the later stages, some courses may already be reaching capacity. We, therefore, recommend that you apply early in the cycle to avoid disappointment.
(For those interested in starting their studies in September 2024, the admissions cycle will begin from October 2023 onwards.)
Apply before finishing your undergraduate degree
We can accept your application before you complete your studies. You need to submit your latest transcripts with your online application, together with the other supporting documents.
If you are applying for a finance-related course you will also need to include a list of your final year units.
Application fee
The following courses require a non-refundable application fee of £60. If you are applying for a programme which requires an application fee, you should be prompted to pay this within the application portal before you can submit your application. You cannot submit your application without paying the application fee first.
Applications submitted by agents will require the agent to pay the application fee on behalf of the student. We cannot provide a link for the student to pay this separately.
If the programme you are applying for is not listed below, an application fee is not required.
- MSc Accounting
- MSc Accounting and Finance
- MSc Business Analytics: Operational Research and Risk Analysis
- MSc Digital Marketing (subject to approval)
- MSc Finance
- MSc International Business and Management
- MSc Marketing
- MSc Management
When applying to multiple programmes requiring an application fee, you will still need to complete the application form for the programme(s) you wish to apply for until you reach the final step where payment is required. At this point please contact the Admissions Team directly at pgadmissions.ambs@manchester.ac.uk providing your name, temporary application ID number and the application ID number for the programme which you have already paid the application fee for. The Admissions Team will then be able to approve any additional applications within the system so that you do not need to pay the application fee again.
Please only make payment once. If you pay any additional application fees and request a refund, this will cause a delay in processing your applications.
If you have applied for a British Chevening Scholarship or Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) Scholarship or are eligible for the Manchester Master's Bursary Scheme, you do not need to pay the application fee, although you must submit evidence with your application. No other application fee waivers are considered.
