There are a number of funding options for master’s courses, which will vary depending on whether you’re a student from the UK, EU or an international student from outside the EU.
Alliance MBS is able to offer a number of scholarships across our master’s courses, the value of which will go towards the cost of the tuition fee.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Our internal scholarships have no application process. All applicants will automatically be considered for one!
However, there are also a number of external awards that you can apply for directly.
Only one scholarship award can be allocated per student. If you receive an external scholarship award or postgraduate loan which only covers part of your tuition fee, you can still be considered for an Alliance MBS scholarship.
How does Alliance MBS decide who is awarded a scholarship?
Scholarships are awarded based on merit, so academic achievement rather than financial need.
Those who are on track to obtain, or have already obtained a first-class Bachelor’s degree or the overseas equivalent will stand out in the scholarship selection progress.
An undergraduate degree from a university of excellent academic standing with a strong ranking is also important.
Our scholarship winners will make excellent additions to their master’s courses and have a positive impact on the course. They must have the potential to enrich and contribute to their course and the university, for example through ambassadorial qualities.

When is the Alliance MBS scholarship announced?
It is worth bearing in mind that the Alliance MBS scholarship awards are announced separately to the offer. We have announcements in both February and March each year.
