Students without GCSE/iGCSE Maths at grade B (or 6) will need to achieve 5 in any one of the following SL subjects; Maths, Maths: Analysis and Approaches or Maths: Applications and Interpretation. Alternatively we can accept grade 5 in Middle Years Programme Maths. We do not accept Maths Studies for BSc (Hons) International Business, Finance and Economics applicants for the purposes of meeting our Maths subject requirements.
Students without GCSE/iGCSE English Language at B (or 6) will need to achieve 4 in SL Language A: English Language and Literature or Language A: Literature. If Language B: English is offered at SL we would need you to achieve a 6.

Course description
This interdisciplinary course offers you the opportunity to study a wide range of course units across finance, accounting, economics, business analysis, innovation, strategy and political economy.
You will study the technical tools and techniques required to measure and assess business performance, while also emphasising the importance of changing economic contexts. You will also have the opportunity to learn a foreign language as part of your degree.

Fees
Fees for entry in 2025 have not yet been set. For entry in 2024 the tuition fees were £9,250 per annum for home students, and are expected to increase slightly for 2025 entry.
Policy on additional costs
All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme. Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum, regardless of whether the programme in question is undergraduate or postgraduate taught, will be made clear to you at the point of application. Scholarships/sponsorships
In addition, Alliance MBS will award a range of Social Responsibility Scholarships to UK and international/EU students. These awards are worth £2,000 per year across three years of study. You must achieve AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification) and be able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.
The School will also award a number of International Stellar Scholarships to international students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification). Applicants who exceed AAA and/or have supplementary qualifications (such as EPQ) will receive additional consideration.
