The highlight of this month has been the What Next conference, which is an annual conference organized by the Manchester Entrepreneurs Society. I had been an intern at the Conference last year, but this year, I was on the organizing committee. It was an amazing day and I am happy to say that despite a few glitches in the beginning, the event was a success. We had a great bunch of speakers, like the Founder of The Big Issue.
We also received our results for the first semester exams. I got an average of 2:1, but I strongly believe that I could have done better. One of my Finance modules really pulled my average down as I underperformed in that. Well into second semester, I am enjoying the modules. One of them is Business Intelligence, and is completely different from what we have studied in the past year.
This month also marked the end of the Badminton season. We finished second in our league, behind Bangor. Unfortunately, I could not play the last match against UCLAN as I had a Presentation due for a module.
With Easter holidays around the corner, a few of my friends are getting ready to go home this month, but a lot of them are staying back for work. I am planning a trip to Amsterdam in the last week of Easter, so that should be fun. I have heard so much about the city and would love to visit.
