Award for CIBER


A paper from the Centre for Comparative and International Business Research (CIBER) at Alliance MBS has been judged an Outstanding Paper in the 2016 Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence.
The paper, published in Critical perspectives on international business, is entitled ‘A Reconceptualization of Social Value Creation as Social Constraint Alleviation’, and focuses on ideas from the global value chain/global production networks, business and human rights, corporate social responsibility (CSR), international business, and social entrepreneurship literatures.
Its authors were Lecturer in International Business and Management Dr Noemi Sinkovics, PGR student Samia Hoque, Professor of International Business Rudolf Sinkovics, and Senior Lecturer in International Management and Organisational Analysis Dr Laszlo Czaban.
