Manchester Enterprise Centre shortlisted for Prospects Postgraduate Award

Manchester Enterprise Centre has been shortlisted for the Best Teaching Team Award (Business and Social Sciences) as part of the Prospects Postgraduate Awards.

More than 150 students, universities and businesses from across the UK entered the Awards across eight categories.

The Awards launched for the first time this year and are run by Manchester-based Graduate Prospects, the UK postgraduate education publisher. They are the only annual awards solely dedicated to celebrating best practice and the most exciting developments in UK postgraduate education.

Lynn Sheppard, Manchester Enterprise Centre Director, said: “It’s great to be recognised for our hard work in inspiring young entrepreneurs from across the University to take their business ideas forward.”

Mike Hill, chief executive of Graduate Prospects said: “It’s fantastic to see such a positive response to our first awards in the postgraduate arena, and so many organisations from Manchester recognised. The standard of entries was high across the board, reflecting the calibre of postgraduate education in the UK.”

The judges include representatives from Universities UK, AGCAS, NUS, UK Council for International Student Affairs, Higher Education Academy, Association of Graduate Recruiters, British Council, Higher Education Data and Information Improvement Programme, Million+, Thirtythree, Higher Education Academy and the UK Council for Graduate Education.
