Grigor McClelland 1922-2013

We were sad to receive the news that, last week, Grigor McClelland –  the first director of Manchester Business School – has died.

Professor McClelland led MBS from 1965 to 1977, during which time he helped to shape one of Britain’s first two major business schools, taking an innovative approach to education for management.

Grigor’s family is planning a Celebration of his Life, taking place in Newcastle in the New Year.

On 8 April 2011, Manchester Business School celebrated his career and contribution to business and management education.
