Professor Cary Cooper in the media on BBC Breakfast

Professor Cary Cooper appeared on BBC Breakfast to offer a psychologist perspective on the rising demand in canals and their footpaths and the ‘tow path rage’ this has resulted in. Professor Cooper commented on the campaign which is aimed at bringing back manners along the paths. Professor Cooper related this campaign to other public areas in the UK – for example, the tube – and how the campaign can be transferred to other public spaces to make us a friendlier nation. Connecting with each other is integral in the nation’s well-being, Professor Cooper noted, and it is especially important within big cities.
