What’s new in recruitment? How to attract, recruit and retain high calibre accounting graduates

This free event at Manchester Business School will explore the challenges facing those wishing to recruit and retain high calibre accounting graduates.

With all the competition amongst graduates, the tried and tested methods of recruitment could be in need of an overhaul. In this interactive one hour workshop, Chartered Accountant and a Chartered HR professional – Angus Farr – will talk through some current techniques of recruitment, selection and retention. There will be a chance for networking and to meet with some of the current students on the BSc Accounting programme at MBS.

Date: Thursday 3 April
Time: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Location: Manchester Business School East (Building 26) B10

Angus Farr
After training and qualifying in a mid-tier practice in London, Angus moved in to HR and learning and development. He is currently Director at Training Counts, where he works with finance professionals and organisations to develop key business and management skills. In his opinion, it is often their ability to better manage themselves, other people and clients that will determine personal and commercial success rather than technical knowledge alone.
