‘Regulation as a means to an end, not an end in itself’ – John Griffith-Jones, Chairman of the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), will discuss the importance of promoting financial regulation that creates real societal and economic value, rather than regulation for the sake of regulation.’

5.45-8pm, Tuesday 17 February, Manchester Business School

The event will begin at 5.45pm with a networking drinks reception, and at 6.30pm John will speak on the role of regulation and will be joined for the audience Q&A by Manchester Business School’s banking expert,  Ismail Erturk.

The evening is part of our Vital Topics lecture series in partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
