In a career spanning over 20 years, Helen has a wealth of experience across the retail sector and leads the BRC in its objectives of helping to shape the future of the retail industry, working with its members and stakeholders across the UK.

Helen was previously Head of Retail at KPMG, where she was responsible for leading and developing its retail practice across the UK. During this time she co-founded the KPMG/Ipsos Retail Think Tank, the focus of which was to drive outputs on the key issues influencing the future of retailing, as well as assessing the health of the sector.

In addition, she is currently Chairman for Working Chance, a charity with a fresh approach to helping women offenders find rewarding, quality employment and she is a judge of Third Sector Business Charity Awards.

The evening was part of our Vital Topics lecture series in partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
