In his 32-year career at Tesco PLC, Sir Terry Leahy had executive responsibilities for operations, results and strategic development. He joined Tesco PLC in 1979 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1997 to March 2, 2011. He serves as a Director of Eagle Eye Solutions Ltd. He has been Chairman at B&M Retail Ltd since December 4, 2012. He serves as an Advisor to the Board at MetaPack Ltd. In 2005, Sir Terry was selected as Britain’s most admired business leader by Management Today. He was chosen as the Fortune European Businessman of the Year for 2004 and Britain’s “Business Leader of the Year” in 2003. Sir Terry was Chancellor of UMIST, his alma mater, from 2002 to October 1, 2004, when he became a Co-Chancellor of the newly-formed University of Manchester. He was granted freedom of the city of Liverpool and knighted in 2002
