International Women’s Day at the University of Manchester


Alliance MBS Head, Professor Fiona Devine, is set to host a launch event marking the launch of Gender Challenges, a three volume compendium of Professor Bina Agarwal’s path-breaking selected papers.

Hosted by the University of Manchester’s Global Development Institute, the event will bring together Bina Agarwal, Professor of Development Economics and Environment at the GDI, in conversation with Lucia Fry, Head of Policy, ActionAid UK; and Diane Elson, Emeritus Professor, University of Essex.

The event will take place from 4.30pm to 6pm on Tuesday 1 March, Samuel Alexander, The University of Manchester and is followed by a drinks reception.
