The latest issue of the Alliance Manchester Business School Magazine has been published to coincide with this year’s British Academy of Management conference which is being held across The University of Manchester.
The issue features exclusive interviews with a number of guest speakers at the conference who talk candidly about the theme of this year’s event, namely how business and management can be a force for good.
Interviewees include: Quinetta Roberson from the Broad College of Business, Michigan State University; acclaimed journalist and author Will Hutton; Tera Allas, Director of Research and Economics at McKinsey’s UK and Ireland office; Beth Haughton, Partner at Palatine Private Equity; and Sacha Sadan, Director of Environmental, Social and Governance at the Financial Conduct Authority.
We also feature interviews with the new Directors of the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research and The Sustainable Consumption Institute at AMBS, while Professor Gerard P Hodgkinson – past Vice Dean for Research at the faculty of Humanities at The University of Manchester – shares his views on the importance of engaged scholarship.
