Alliance MBS recently hosted its second annual Festival of Business, bringing together academics, policymakers and leading industry pioneers, and there was one theme that remained at the forefront; disruptive technology.
Aptly titled ‘Innovate 2050’, the four-day event put a focus on what the future of business will look like, highlighting key challenges collectively faced by students, entrepreneurs and business leaders alike. From generative AI, to changes in how people consume media, to balancing technology and the human experience. While there was a collective understanding that technology has, and will continue to shape the direction of business, there was also an air of positivity and a buzz of opportunity in how we, as humans, will adapt.
Reflecting on the ‘Future of Digitalisation’ panel, perhaps a key takeaway is just how valuable digital expertise are proving to be in the working world. As highlighted by the panel, it’s not AI itself that poses a threat, it’s people who know how to use AI. They’re the ones that will make strides as they enter the workforce, possessing the crucial skills to take companies to new heights.
With innovation and digital transformation consistently changing the business landscape, it’s never been more important to have the management skills needed to drive change. At Alliance MBS we offer a range of courses at all levels that are designed with industry experts to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to flourish in the face of disruptive technologies.
