Ana Paula Vitelli, responsible for AMBS’ Global MBA activity in Brazil, has been appointed as the first female President at the British Chamber of Commerce in Brazil for the term 2020 - 2022.
The British Chamber of Commerce supports and connects businesses in Britain and Brazil, helping to build new relationships, providing practical support and creating opportunities for trade at a local, national and global level. Ana’s appointment as President is a recognition of the high level of commitment she has been placing with the local British community in relation to The University of Manchester’s activities in the region.
Ana has overseen global MBA recruitment in Brazil, since 2013 and will remain highly engaged in this role. Her additional appointment will bring a stronger Manchester presence to Brazil, creating beneficial synergies between the University, Business School, the Government and businesses in the region.
In regards to her appointment, Ana said: “I am delighted to become the first female President of the Chamber in its 100 years of existence in Brazil. It is with strong motivation and energy that I commence this journey, committed to our members in bringing relevant opportunities for the British and Brazilian business communities.”
