We recently caught up with Aish Malik, who completed the MSc Business Analysis and Strategic Management degree course in 2020, to find out about her experience at Alliance MBS and what she’s been doing since graduation.
Why did you choose to study this Master’s course at Alliance Manchester Business School?

What have you been doing since graduation – can you briefly describe your job role?
“Since graduation, I have been working at the prestigious multinational professional services firm Deloitte as a Technology Strategy and Transformation Consultant at their London headquarters.
“My role involves creating technology strategies that help clients establish technical credibility, drive business value, accelerate products and services, improve operations, increase customer engagement, and maximize the ROI on technology investments.”
How has your time at Alliance MBS helped you in your current role?
“During my time at Alliance MBS, I gained a range of vital skills that have helped me settle into my new role successfully. The skill of taking a holistic approach, being self-reliant to tackle challenges and arrive at solutions has benefited me a great deal.
“Additionally, I was given many responsibilities. The ability to prioritise and balance various projects and time frames has allowed me to juggle different work assignments with conflicting deadlines with ease.
“As a graduate consultant, I have to work in teams to deliver solutions for clients. Fortunately whilst at University I had the opportunity to work on a large number of group projects which have enabled me to learn how to articulate my ideas well and work collaboratively towards a common goal.”
What advice would you give to those considering studying at Alliance Manchester Business School?
My advice for prospective students is to research the University thoroughly and identify the most appropriate Master’s degree for yourself. A Master’s degree requires a lot of commitment and hard work, so make sure that you choose a course that you’re truly passionate about and one that will enhance your future career prospects.

What are your future aspirations?
“My current plan for the near future is to invest in my professional development and upgrade my knowledge. This includes working with new methodologies and developing my technical skills by gaining technical qualifications as this will increase the level of responsibilities awarded to me at work and will broaden the breadth of solutions I can recommend to clients as well as the opportunities available to me as a technology consultant.”
