Looking to make new connections and speak with other inspiring and aspiring business people? At this event you can speak to like-minded business women, discuss your ideas, share your knowledge and expertise. Come along either in-person or online to make new connections in an informal setting.

In celebration of International Women's Month, this month's session is being brought to you in collaboration with the Corporate Women’s Society.

Satveer Kaur

Satveer a final-year BA Economics student at Manchester Metropolitan University with a focus on gender, leadership, and economic representation. Her research explores how inequality in education influences who enters business, shapes policy, and holds decision-making power.

During her research internship, she examined gender disparities in economics education, analysing the structural and cultural barriers that contribute to women’s underrepresentation in the field and identifying practical solutions to address them.

She is the Founder and Chair of the Corporate Women’s Society, where she lead initiatives that support women academically, professionally, and personally, particularly in male-dominated industries such as finance and consulting.

Through networking events, skills workshops, and collaborative partnerships, Satveer aims to build confident, ambitious leaders. Her broader manifesto centres on representation, access, and institutional change, grounded in the belief that women should not only be present in business, but actively shape its future.

This event will be hosted by MBA alumna Claire-Marie Boggiano, Lurig Change & Development.
