Twenty teams of students with promising ideas made it through to the final round of Venture Further – the University’s annual business start-up competition - and pitched their business proposal to a panel of professionals for a slice of £75,000 prize money.
Vikas Shah MBE, Serial-entrepreneur & Philanthropist, and Lynn Sheppard, Director of the Masood Enterprise Centre will be our hosts for the evening, alongside Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Luke Georghiou and some exciting guest speakers. This event promises to be a wonderful celebration of student innovation and entrepreneurship here at The University of Manchester.
Designed to nurture and highlight a wide range of entrepreneurial students and alumni across the University, Venture Further gives budding entrepreneurs the chance to turn their ideas into reality and win significant early-stage funding to start their own business.
