This year’s Scale-Up Forum Regional Review will explore how the pandemic has impacted business in Greater Manchester and how the region is positioned to support scaling businesses as we go into 2021.

We’ll hear from Irene Graham OBE, CEO and a board director of the ScaleUp Institute, who will share her thoughts from this year’s Scaleup Index. Irene will deep-delve into a variety of industry and government datasets and offer a Greater Manchester perspective. She will discuss the emergence of scaleup clusters outside of London and how these initiatives are supporting fast-growing business, and talk candidly about what more can be done in the Greater Manchester region to support the scaleup community.

Following Irene’s presentation, Professor Andrew James, Associate Dean for Business Engagement & External Relations at The University of Manchester will give you the opportunity to discuss with your peers and our experts everything from crisis management, and how to grow out of the pandemic, to productivity, digitalisation and the impacts on skills.

We’ll close the event with news about funding opportunities and programmes to help you resource and solve your business challenges.

We want to create a unique platform for fast-growing business to discuss, share best practice and access high level expertise from the Alliance MBS and our partners, we expect demand for attendance to be high and therefore registrations will be verified in order to ensure a non-sales environment.

This event is for you if you work in a fast growing SME or scaling up business.
