Prior to joining Alliance MBS Mike worked for nearly 20 years in management, project management and consultancy in the public, private and charitable sectors. In 1995 he joined United Utilities plc, initially as a graduate trainee and then as a marketing manager. Over a period of 5 years, he gained direct management experience of operations, customer services, marketing, human resources and asset management across the water, power and telecoms businesses. In 2001, Mike changed career to work as a senior consultant/project manager for SQW Ltd economic development consultants. He then set up his own consultancy business, providing independent consultancy, project management and interim management services primarily to the regeneration and charitable sectors, in line with his general interests in social and environmental change. Mike also provides management and organisational design consultancy to a number of UK charities. He is chair of the Boaz Trust, a Manchester-based charity serving destitute asylum-seekers.,
