Multinational enterprise competitiveness through inclusive development

This hybrid workshop brings together leading international scholars and policymakers to explore how multinationals can create both economic and social value, while addressing contemporary global challenges and promoting inclusive development.

During the event, researchers will present results from the MNEDEVELOP project , sharing evidence from Brazil and Colombia. They will explore the drivers, strategies, and outcomes of MNE-community interactions, debate the opportunities and challenges of creating business and social value through community engagement, sustainable development and inclusive growth.

Complementing these insights, experts from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America will share regional views on how multinationals can help tackle inequalities and foster inclusive growth across diverse institutional and socio-economic contexts.

For those attending in person, a buffet lunch will be available from 12:00 before the workshop begins. The event will include refreshments and opportunities for networking throughout the afternoon, including an additional networking session from 16:00-16:30.

The workshop is open to academics, policymakers, business leaders, NGOs, students and anyone with an interest in sustainable international business and inclusive development.

Attendance is free, but registration is required.
