As Semester 2 comes to a close, and with only dissertations left to submit, our master’s students celebrate finishing classes. The 2019 ball was held at The Midland Hotel in Manchester city centre and was organised by The Horizon Society.
Each year, the Society aims to bring together master’s students at a range of exciting events over the course of the year. The Horizon Society is also planning another event in September once everyone has completed their studies.
Lindsey Kolling, current MSc Marketing student and member of The Horizon Society shares her experiences:
“The Horizon Society planned the ball as a team, with each person taking on different responsibilities throughout the process. We had a great time collaborating and enjoyed seeing our hard work pay off!
“I think people most enjoyed celebrating the end of great semester with friends and classmates. The ball was a great way for people to look back on their course and celebrate their successes.
“We had the highest turnout in the history of the Horizon Society and are really proud of our efforts.”
