Sally Bucknell

Sally Bucknell is a senior HR professional with deep expertise in organisational change and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I). She is a thought leader with strong capability and experience of setting and leading strategy on complex issues, creating market leading people propositions and executing change in a matrixed, regulated, professional organization.

Sally currently leads the Future of Work transformation programme for EY in the UK, establishing the behaviours, workplaces and technology required to futureproof the Firm. Previously Sally was the DE&I Leader for the UK Firm, instrumental in developing public targets and a focused strategy to drive change.

A flexible working advocate, Sally works at EY four days a week. She is also a Deputy Pro Chancellor of Keele University, a member of the MBA Advisory Board at Kingston University and a supporter of Northern Power Women – a forum set up to connect and showcase role models in the North of England. She also mentors young people through EY’s independent charity, EY Foundation.

A parent of two wonderful teenagers - a mixed blessing every day – Sally maintains her wellbeing and resilience with country walks and regular gym-going. She was a founding member of HerSpace, a local initiative to connect women socially, especially those experiencing isolation.

Hosted by MBA alumna Claire-Marie Boggiano, Lurig Change & Development.
