Venture Further Awards 2021

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the in-person award ceremony will not be taking place, however, the team have worked hard to develop this alternative online event, which will ensure that the finalists will still receive the recognition they deserve.

Venture Further is the UK’s top university-led enterprise competition which encourages students and recent graduates from across The University of Manchester to develop a business idea and make it a reality. The finalists in each category - Environmental, Healthcare, Services, Social, and Technology - have been selected on the basis of the business proposal judged to have the most chance of success and the winner in each category will receive a £10,000 prize.

MEC is delighted to welcome Vikas Shah MBE as host for the evening. Vikas is a serial entrepreneur, investor, thinker and educator who has built businesses in diverse sectors around the world for almost 20 years. He is a business consultant and advisor to numerous entrepreneurs and organisations globally.
