ESG is one of the most important current and future challenges in the business world. However, there is a considerable amount of scepticism about its design and achievability as well as serious concerns about risks in ignoring its relevance for firm purpose and business models.

The event will feature an insightful talk delivered by Ismail Ertürk, Senior Lecturer in PMO Management and Organisation Studies at AMBS, where we will explore:

  • The concerns and risks of ignoring ESG’s relevancy
  • Leadership frameworks for ESG
  • The importance of integrating social and environmental responsibilities into business models
  • Why shareholder value primacy has failed as a company’s purpose
  • Roadmaps for ESG strategy, drawing on interdisciplinary research

The event will be facilitated by Kieran MacCourt, Head of Client Relations at AMBS and is aimed at both the alumni community, and those interested in Executive Education.
