I am currently a Senior Leader in the Procurement space working at the Co-op. My main responsibilities are leading on HR and Professional Services spend.
I wanted to join this course because within my organisation, there is a high pace of delivery and change, as well as a competitive market for talent and lots of changing expectations as part of my role.
Since studying on the Psychology of Leading People course, I have gained a greater appreciation of the role which human psychology plays in both colleague and leader experience and their organisational outcomes.
I have also developed a sharpened sense of awareness on contributing factors to challenges!
I can honestly say I enjoyed the whole course! I think my favourite part was learning from both the course lead, Robin Martin, and the other delegates that were attending the course - the collaboration and networking opportunities were wonderful!
This course will help me to improve my job design, and will also enhance my interpersonal relationships within my organisation.
The course has also made me more aware of how I can practice more inclusive hiring within my team.
My advice to anyone thinking about booking onto this course would be - do it! It's a fascinating topic to learn about, and if you're open to sharing your experiences, yourself and others will be able to hugely benefit from this.
