European Work and Employment Research Centre

NEIRE (New European Industrial Relations) research network

Miguel Martinez Lucio and Arjan Keizer were the UK partners in NEIRE, a European network across 11 countries to study labour relations and social innovation in organisations. The network has so far produced two major studies on first, the role of employee representatives in industrial relations, and second, the perception of this role and the capabilities of employee representatives among employers. Both studies have been funded by the European Commission
