2nd December 2016 *RDN - Paper writing workshop
The aim of this workshop is to give participants the chance to submit a piece of work in progress to receive formative feedback to help progress towards a journal submission. The paper can be at any stage of development, from very early conception to complete drafts. Where papers are co-authored the person submitting the paper to the workshop should be the lead author. Participants will be organised into small groups in order to read and comment on each other’s work with additional feedback and facilitation provided by senior academics. The workshop is intended to be a developmental opportunity, so all participants are encouraged to advise what aspects of feedback they would like to receive. The workshop should also give participants the opportunity to get to know the kinds of work that other researchers are involved with and make some new connections.
